The next online application for JEE (Main) April-2019 Examination shall start from 8th February and shall remain open till 7th March 2019. The uploading of images and payment of the application fee will be upto 8th March2019.
The JEE (Main) April 2019 Examination will be conducted in CBT mode between 6th and 20th April, 2019.
The JEE (Main)-2019 will be conducted twice before admissions in the next academic session.The student’s best of the two NTA scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.
The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) to the National Testing Agency (NTA) from 2019 onwards.
Admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI), Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The Paper-1 (B. E. /B. Tech.) of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programs offered by the IITs.

2. Candidates have to apply for JEE (Main) January – 2019“Online” ONLY. The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted, in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
3. Submission of Online Application Form may be done by accessing NTA website www.jeemain.nic.in only.
4. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin available on NTA’s website.
5. Please ensure eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main), JEE (Advanced) and participating State Institutions (as applicable).
6. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is only an examination conducting body. After declaration of result, the data is handed over to CENTRALISED SEAT ALLOCATION BOARD (CSAB)/JoSAA or the concerned State government/institute for Seat Allocation Process and admission procedure.
7. Candidate must ensure that e-mail address and Mobile Number provided inthe Online Application Form are his/her own as all information/communication will be sent by NTA on e-mail address or SMS on given Mobile Number only.
8. The candidates should select four cities of examination as per their choice of Paper-1 or Paper-2 or both Paper-1 & Paper-2 of JEE (Main) – 2019.
9. INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION FORM :
Read the “Instructions and Procedure for Online Submission of Application Form of JEE (Main) 2019”.
Download Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Form. Read these carefully to ensure your eligibility and acquaint with the requirements for submission of Online Application Form.
Follow following 4 (Four) Steps to Apply Online:
Step-1: Fill in the online Application Form and Note down the system generated Application Number
Step-2: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (between 10 kb–200 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (between 4kb – 30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
Step-3: Make payment of fee using SBI_MOPS and keep proof of fee paid.
Step-4: Print at least four print out of Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee
All the 4 Steps can be done together and separately also.
Note:
1. The final submission of online Application form will remain incomplete if Step 2 and Step – 3 are not completed. Such forms will stand rejected and no correspondence on this account will be entertained.
2. No request for refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained.
3. The entire application process of JEE (Main) January 2019is online, including uploading of scanned images, Payment of Fees and Printing of Confirmation page.
Therefore, candidates are not required to send/submit any document(s) including Confirmation page to NTA through Post/Fax/By hand.
4. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the NTA’s website regularly for latest updates and to check their e-mails.
5. The NTA can make use of the data generated for the purpose of research and analysis.
The fee may be paid either by credit/debit card/ Net Banking or e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form using on-line payment gateway facility in State Bank of India.
Mode of Examination:
JEE (Main)-2019 will be conducted in the following mode:
(a) Paper-1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
(b) Paper-2 (B. Arch/ B.Planning): Mathematics- Part I and Aptitude Test-Part II in “Computer
Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test –Part III in “Pen & Paper Based” (offline) mode to be attempted on drawing sheet.
Choice of Medium of Question Papers:
The medium of Question Paper shall be in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
The option of question paper language should be exercised while filling up the Application Form and it cannot be changed at a later stage.

Qualifying Examination (QE):
Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 or 2018; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2019 are eligible to appear in both January, 2019 and April, 2019 JEE (Main)-2019 Examination.
Candidates who passed Class 12th /Qualifying examination in 2016 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2020 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main)–2019.
Admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board will be based on All India Rank as explained in section 2.10 (of IB) subject to the condition that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.E./B.Tech. & B. Arch./B.Planning Courses in NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs shall be as under.
B.E/B.TECH. Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.

The Council of Architecture will be conducting NATA-2019 for admission to First year of 5 year B.Arch Degree Course in the academic session 2019-20 at all recognized Institutions all over the country.CoA will conduct the test twice a year, giving opportunity to those students who miss out the first test due to some reason or other and to improve upon their NATA score in the first test by re-appearing the second test. Both the first and second test will be conducted on a different date as a one-day online examination all over the country.
The test shall consist of two parts: Part A comprising Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Mathematics and general aptitude which is to be answered online and Part B is on drawing, which is paper based.
The First Test will be held on 14.04.2019 and the Second Test is scheduled to be held on 07.07.2019.

Pattern of Questions and Mode of Answering
Part A comprises of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) to be answered online and Part B will be answered
on A4 size drawing sheets.
Syllabus for NATA-2019 is given in APPENDIX – I of IB.
Questions and all instructions will be available only in English medium.
The distribution of marks is outlined as follows:

Out of four options, only one option is correct and correct response will yield 2 (two) marks.
There is no negative marking.
Drawing Test
Candidate has to attempt two questions within 120 minutes. The drawing aptitude is judged on the following aspects –
- Ability to sketch a given object proportionately and rendering the same in visually appealing manner;
- Visualising and drawing the effects of light on the object and shadows cast on surroundings;
- Sense of perspective drawing;
- Combining and composing given three dimensional elements to form a building or structural form;
- Creating interesting two dimensional composition using given shapes and forms;
- Creating visual harmony using colours in given composition;
- Understanding of scale and proportions;
- Drawing from memory through pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences.
The Answer to each question in the ‘drawing’ paper will be examined by more than one examiner independently and the marks will be averaged. The primary emphasis in scoring the drawing section will be on the candidate’s drawing, imagination and observation skills. The candidate’s sense of proportion and perspective will also be evaluated together with sense for colour and composition.
Eligibility Criteria for Candidates
Those appearing the10+2exam with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics in the current year may also provisionally appearing the exam,however,their resultin NATA-2019 will be declared valid subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
Only candidates who have the following credentials shall be eligible for admission to B.Arch. Course:
i. Qualified through the recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in 2019
ii. Have gone through any of the following curriculum with marks as prescribed below:
“No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/ he has passed an examination at the end
of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination
with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.”

Reservations under different categories:
NATA 2019 is a qualifying examination for admission into the B. Arch. degree program. Reservation is a prerogative of the admission/ counselling authority and does not fall under the purview of this examination.
Application has to be filled up ONLINE at the NATA portal of www.nata.in
Candidates need to fill in the first part i.e. PERSONAL DETAILS and will thereafter be directed to DOCUMENT UPLOADING. Once the documents are successfully uploaded, the system enters into the FEE PAYMENT.
The candidate must take a printout of CONFIRMATION PAGE generated upon successful fee payment for their own record.
There is no need to send any document by post.

All candidates are required to upload the following images:

Documents have to be in jpg / jpeg format. The page size of document is to be in A4 format. Following are the details regarding the size and dimension of the documents:

Application Fee Details:
Irrespective of his/her gender, a candidate applying for NATA– 2019, either first test or second test, has to pay INR 1800/- (Rupees One thousand and eight hundred only) as application fee, through ONLINE mode. This is inclusive of service fee charged by the bank.
In case the Candidate wishes to appear for both first and second test, he/she shall deposit Rs 3500/- (Rupees Three thousand and five hundred only) as application fees.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST category need to deposit Rs 1500/- for either first or second test and Rs 2800/- for appearing in both the tests through online mode.
Candidates opting to appear from test centres outside the territory of India have to deposit Rs.10000/- for either first or second test and Rs. 18,000/- for appearing in both the tests through online mode.
The candidate, on successfully uploading the PERSONAL DETAILS and DOCUMENTS; will be directed to the webpage containing process of payment of application fee as per the following options.
Payment through EPG: The candidate has to click “Payment of fee using EPG services”, the system will automatically redirect to available payment gateway page, displayed at the web site. As per the candidate’s convenience, he/she may select any of the options to pay the application fee through electronic payment gateway via debit card, credit card or net banking and follow the online instructions to complete the payment process. After successful payment, payment gateway will redirect the candidate to home page that will show the status of fee payment. Upon successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the final “Confirmation Page”.
Confirmation Page (A proof of REGISTRATION)
The Confirmation Page is generated upon successful payment of Application Fee. Its generation means that the candidate has been successfully REGISTERED. The candidate should take a printout and preserve the confirmation page for future reference. There is no need to send any document to the Council by post.
Issue of Admit Card
For each Applicant, an Admit Card will be generated according to the schedule notified indicating the allotted Examination Centre for NATA – 2019 and a downloadable version of the admit card will be published on the respective webpage of the candidate concerned. An Examination Roll Number will also be generated for each candidate.
Candidate has to download the soft copy of the Admit Card from the website and has to appear in the examination with a printed hard copy at the concerned Examination Centre indicated in the downloaded
Admit Card along with one original photo identity card- Voter Card/ Pan Card/ Aadhar Card/ Driving Licence.
Candidates must ensure that the photograph and signature printed on the admit card are not mutilated / distorted / soiled even by accident. Candidates with such mutilated / distorted / soiled admit cards will not be allowed to appear in NATA-2019.
Candidates are advised to retain their admit cards carefully in secured place in undamaged condition in all respects as stated above till the completion of admission procedure.
Declaration of Results
Rules for scrutiny / review of Answer Sheet :
After the examination, model answers to MCQ portion (Part A) would be available in public domain. Before publication of results, the response sheets of each candidate will be uploaded along with Part-wise mark(s) secured.
No review will be available for the drawing test (Part B). Further, there will be no provision for post publication scrutiny and /or review and any request after publication of the result will not be entertained. Result format
Results will be available in the website www.nata.in which will be announced in various electronic/printing media before declaration of results.
The result will be available in two formats:
1. Marks obtained out of 200 and in each component
2. Pass/Fail
Qualifying marks for NATA-2019 would be based on the following rules:
1. A minimum of 25% must be secured in MCQ portion (30 out of 120)
2. A minimum of 25% must be secured in Drawing portion (20 out of 80)
3. Overall qualifying marks (out of 200) would be based on post-exam statistics and at the discretion of the Council.
A Candidate will not qualify in NATA-2019 unless he/ she satisfies all three conditions mentioned above.
Validity of NATA-2019 score
NATA-2019 score shall be valid only for admission in the session
2019-20.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
(i) The Applicant should be an Indian National / Overseas Citizen of India.
(ii) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admissio n or will complete the age on or before 31st December 201 9 , the year of his/her adm ission to the first year M.B.B.S i.e. they should have been born on or before 01 – 01 – 200 3 . ( Request for relaxation from the prescribed age limit will not be considered for any c ategory of applicants).
No upper age limit.
( iii ) The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner as mentioned below:
(a) The Higher / Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher / Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio – technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) or any other elective with Englis h at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education ( Annexure – I list the examinations recognized by JIPMER )
(b) The Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination other than those mentioned in the list appended in Annexure – I, will have to submit an Eligibility Certificate before admission is finalized. being the competent & final authority for the purpose of fixing norms and standards

Step 2: Click on Register Now button and it will take you to the Login Page.
Step 3: Again click Register Now button for signing up the User Account Registration. Fill-in the MANDATORY fields
and click on Sign up.
Step 4: Once you have successfully signed up. Click on Login to continue, login with your chosen credentials.
Note: To create your credentials candidates are required to provide a login ID and password.
Stage II: Submission of Application Form
Step 1: Login into NATA- 2018 portal with chosen credentials and Click on Apply Now button which will be
directed to the application form.
Step 2: Fill-in the MANDATORY fields which is mentioned in the Appendix III.
Step 3: Upload the required documents and click on Preview button to preview the filled in application form
then click on Submit button to submit the form. Once the form is submitted, no changes will be entertained,
so carefully fill-in the application form.
Step 4: Once the application form submitted, it will be redirected to Payment Gateway page. Kindly provide the
required inputs for payment process.
Step 5: Upon successful fee payment, you will get land up in confirmation page contains Application No and
Transaction No., kindly take a printout of it as a proof of application form submission.

Application Fee Details:
A candidate applying for NATA– 2018 has to pay INR 1800/- (Rupees One thousand and eight hundred and only)
as application fee, through ONLINE mode. This is inclusive of service fee charged by the bank.
For SC/ ST candidates the application fee is Rs. 1500/- (One thousand and five hundred only). This is inclusive of
service fee charged by the bank.
The candidate, on successfully uploading the PERSONAL DETAILS and DOCUMENTS, will be directed to the
webpage containing process of payment of application fee as outlined below:
Payment through EPG: Payment of fee can be made through State Bank of India/ Bill desk payment gateway.
As per the candidate’s convenience, he/she may select any of the options to pay the application fee through
electronic payment gateway via debit card, credit card or net banking and follow the online instructions to
complete the payment process.
After successful payment, payment gateway will redirect the candidate to home page that will show the status

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO B.Sc COURSES AT JIPMER:
(i) The Applicant should be an Indian National
(ii) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December 201 7 , the year of his/her admission to the 1st year B.Sc Courses ., i.e. they should have been born on or before 01 – 01 – 200 1 . ( Request for relaxation from the prescribed age limit will not be considered for any category of applicants).
No upper age limit.
( iii ) The applicants should have passed the qualifying examinations in the manner mentioned below:
(a) The Higher / Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher / Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education ( Annexure – I lists the examinations recognized by JIPMER ) or Higher Secondary Examination (+2) Vocational Stream with Medical Laboratory Assistant or any equivalent examination.
(b) The Candidates who have passed the qualifying examinati on other than those mentioned in the list appended in Annexure – I, will have to submit an Eligibility Certificate before admission is finalized. Obtaining such an Eligibility Certificate from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi is essential for admission to JIPMER B.Sc. Course s .

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
Candidates are required to go through the Information Bulletin carefully and acquaint themselves with the following:-
1. Candidates can apply for NEET (UG) “Online” only.
No offline application will be entertained.
[FOUR Simple steps to Apply Online:
i)Fill the Online Application Form and note down the Registration Number
ii)Upload photo and signature
iii)Make Payment of Fee by prescribed modes.
iv)Print Confirmation Page after Successful remittance of fee.]
2. Information Bulletin can be downloaded from the website www.cbseneet.nic.in
3. Online submission of Application Form may be submitted by accessing Board’s website www.cbseneet.nic.in
Instructions for Online submission of Application are available in the Information Bulletin and on the website : www.cbseneet.nic.in
Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Bulletin and on website.
Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be disqualified.

Aadhaar card or Aadhaar enrollment number. X X
[4. Aadhaar number is required for submission of Application Form of NEET (UG)-2018. The use of Aadhaar
for the candidates of NEET (UG)-2018 will result in accuracy of the candidate’s details. This will also help in
identities of the candidates at the examination centres in a convenient and hassle free manner. Aadhaar obviates
the need for producing multiple documents to prove one‟s identity. More details are available in point-10 of chapter-4.]X X
5. Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence:
(a) At least three printouts of the Confirmation Page of online Application.
(b) Proof of fee paid (i.e. Bank transaction details supported by confirmation page).
(c) At least 5 copies of identical passport size Photograph that was scanned and uploaded on the Online Application.
(d) Copy of the system generated Self Declaration in respect of candidates from State of J&K who have opted for
seats under 15% All India Quota .
(e) The State of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have decided to join 15% All India Quota scheme. Hence, candidates
of these states need not to furnish Self Declaration as required earlier.
6. (a) Candidates must ensure that mobile numbers, e-mail ID filled in online Application form are their own or their parents’.
The Board will make communication by SMS and/or e-mail on given mobile number and e-mail ID respectively only.
(b) The CBSE will not be responsible for non-receipt of latest information due to wrong mobile number, e-mail ID
and correspondence address filled in the Online Application Form.
(c) The fee can only be remitted in the following ways:
(i) By Credit Card/Debit Card;
(ii) Net Banking/UPI;
(iii) E-wallet of Common Services Centre and other service providers.
(d) Final Submission of Online Application will remain incomplete and unsuccessful in case of failure to complete
Step-3 of Online Application, i.e., non-payment of fee. Generation of confirmation page confirms that application
has been submitted successfully. Non generation of confirmation page indicates that the process of payment of
fee has not been completed and thus application has not been submitted successfully.
7. Candidates must preserve the Admit Cards till their admission in MBBS/BDS Courses.
8. Ensure that correct data is submitted in online application. Any correction pertaining to the photograph and
signature of the candidate will be intimated through e-mail/SMS and the same will be available in the candidate’s
login account. Other permissible corrections can also be carried through log-in account only during schedule
fixed for the same. Candidates may ensure clear photograph and signature are uploaded. Thereafter, no request
for correction(s) will be entertained.
9. Eligibility of the candidate will be determined on the last date of submission of online application form.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. NEET (UG) will be held on 6th May, 2018 (Sunday).
2. NEET (UG) will be held in single stage and would be an objective type test.
3. Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRI‟s), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI‟s), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO‟s) &
Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG)-2018.
4. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
5. Particulars filled in application form may be chosen carefully as options once exercised cannot be changed later including
examination centre city and Language of Question Paper.
6. Allotment of centre is made by Computer and there is no human intervention. Under no circumstances, the allotted centre
shall be changed by the Board.
7. The candidates can download Admit Card for the Examination from website: www.cbseneet.nic.in
8. The candidates can download the Result, Marks cum Rank Sheet/Rank Letter from the website: www.cbseneet.nic.in

9. For the latest updates, candidates must remain in touch with the websites: www.cbseneet.nic.in , www.mohfw.nic.in and
www.mcc.nic.in and the websites of concerned States/Institutions till the completion of final round of counselling.
10. Candidates should fill-up online form and pay fee well in advance to avoid last hour rush on the server. No request
regarding non-submission of application/fee (due to any reason) will be entertained.
11. Candidates must note that mere deduction of fee from the bank account is not a proof of fee payment. The payment
should be supported by updated fee in the account of the candidate. Generation of confirmation page is the proof of
successful submission of application form.
12. The result of the NEET (UG) may be utilized by other entities of Central/State Governments for admission purpose
in accordance with their rules.
13. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India has decided for the Indian students who wish to pursue
MBBS/BDS from a foreign Medical Institute need to qualify NEET (UG).
14. Candidates are advised to be in constant touch with the NEET website and check their emails/sms for latest updates.
